I'm taking Stuck on You +2 1/2 million +120. This could be one of those weeks when everyone making predictions(someone's smokin' da pipe

) will be scratching their head on Saturday morning wondering what went wrong. I'm not saying Stuck on You is going to be a blockbuster, but, I certainly don't think Somethings Gotta Give will do that much better. For one thing, the older crowd doesn't rush out the first weekend to see a movie. Plus, Stuck on You has been on the radar for a long time, and I've never seen a trailer for Something's got to Give. I don't watch T.V. but never seen the trailer in the theaters. It's got star power going for it but, look at the trailer online, no teenagers are going to go see this movie. Stuck on You is going to be the movie of chice this weekend for the strongest demographic.

back to #1 goes Something. Well, thats a bad sign what can I say. Its geared towards the older audience and usually the younger crowd seems to control that chart. At least Box Office Prphets agree with my assessment of this weekend. The Stuck on You trailers have been getting a good response from theater crowds, I'm just not sure if it's too corny looking to beat out Something this weekend.

"Cinemark Theatres
Woodlands, TX
10:00AM showing

Nothing new on the trailers but did notice a very postive reaction to 50 First Dates.

Theatre was about half full; 95% of the crowd was female; and many senior couples. Reaction was extremely positive as I overheard many comments on how great it was and I'd have to agree. Not a masterpiece but worth the money. "
